Should patriotism be occasional or digestive?

The reason for asking this question is the incident I have studied in Swami Ramatirtha’s biography.

Once Swami was travelling by train from one place to another in Japan. In train he felt hungry and was searching for fruits in every station. But he didn’t get because there were no fruits.

One Japan local guy was observing the situation of Swami Rama. Train was reaching another station. Suddenly this guy jumped from train and vanished into paddy fields. Train reached a station. Again swami Rama getting down for fruits. Suddenly the Japanese guy came and gave the fruits to Swami Rama. Swami stunned and offered money to guy and asked the guy “why did you take such a big risk?” Japanese guy rejected the money and told swami Rama “when you go back to India please don’t say any one that even fruits are not available in Japan to eat. This is the reward I want. That’s it.”

One should observe the patriotism shown by the guy in very small incident also.
Coming to us whenever there is terrorist attack or any problem came to India then only we show the patriotism.

As in above incident how many of us have the patriotism in every small moment in our life?

Note: What I mentioned above is not to all people but to many .
